Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has claimed that the club will do everything in their power to sign Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure this summer.
Toure has been repeatedly linked with a move to San Siro after Inter head coach Roberto Mancini made it clear that he would like to work with the Ivorian again, and his agent has suggested that he will leave when the transfer window reopens.
City are already believed to be lining up Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba to replace him as Thohir prepares to launch a move for the 32-year-old.
"It's true, we want Toure," Thohir told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "How likely? I do not know, but it is certain that we will do everything to get him."
Reports have suggested that Toure is willing to take a pay cut to leave the club this summer.
