Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has conceded that the club may be looking to bring in players from Premier League rivals Manchester City.
Nedum Onuoha had a successful loan spell at the Stadium of Light last season and with the likes of Craig Bellamy and Shaun Wright-Phillips potentially available, Bruce admitted that he may try to lure other City players to the North East.
“We did great with Nedum last year. He played 95% of the games for us and he scored our goal of the season against Chelsea,” Bruce told Sky Sports News.
“We have got a good relationship with Manchester City, that is quite well known. Just like we have players available so have they so we are looking, of course. We would be naïve not to with the squad they have.
“They have such an array of talent so we'll keep monitoring and see what turns up.”
