Manchester City are reportedly considering making a bid for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley.
The 20-year-old made 38 appearances in all competitions for the Toffees last season, scoring seven goals on his way to securing a place in Roy Hodgson's World Cup squad.
According to The Mirror, the Premier League champions are weighing up a £25m bid for the England international, potentially offering Jack Rodwell as part of the deal.
Rodwell, who left Goodison Park in 2012, is thought to be keen to return to Everton after struggling to secure a regular place in the Man City team.
