Manchester City lower asking price of Nicolas Otamendi?

Manchester City are allegedly prepared to sell Nicolas Otamendi for just £8m before the start of next season.

Manchester City are reportedly considering whether to part ways with Nicolas Otamendi for just £8m.

The Argentina international has enjoyed a successful five-year spell at the Etihad Stadium, contributing 11 goals from 210 appearances in all competitions.

However, with Nathan Ake having already been signed from Bournemouth, it appears increasingly likely that the 32-year-old will be allowed to depart the Champions League quarter-finalists.

According to The Sun, club officials are prepared to reduce the centre-back's asking price from £15m to £8m.

While Napoli and Valencia have already been linked with Otamendi, the alleged development would only lead to further interest in his signature.

Although the player still has two years left on his contract, City seemingly have no intention of extending his deal.
