Manchester City have expressed an interest in signing Paris Saint-Germain academy midfielder Claudio Gomes, according to a report.
The 17-year-old, one of the French club's most highly-rated young players, has played 326 minutes over five outings in the UEFA Youth League this season.
Gomes has also been training with Unai Emery's first team but is reportedly unsure about his chances of playing regularly and has yet to sign a professional contract.
According to the Daily Mail, Man City have been in touch with the France Under-18 captain, who in turn is believed to be interested in making the move to the Etihad Stadium.
Both City and PSG are excelling in their respective leagues, boasting sizeable leads at the summits of England and France's top flights.
