Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala is "not the key to Paris Saint-Germain's future", according to the French club's chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Paris Saint-Germain chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi has attempted to play down reports linking the French moneybags with a move for Juventus star Paulo Dybala.

The 24-year-old is one of the hottest properties on the world stage following an impressive first half to the Serie A campaign in front of goal.

Dybala's form tailed off somewhat between October and mid-December, but he still boasts 14 league goals and three assists this term.

Reports on the continent have linked the Argentina international with a switch to PSG, having previously admitted that he would love to play alongside Neymar, but making an approach is not currently a priority for the Ligue 1 pacesetters.

Speaking to Italian publication La Stampa, Al-Khelaifi said: "The truth is there are a lot of good players in Serie A, not just Dybala. If we are interested in him, we'll call Juventus.

"[Juve president Andrea] Agnelli is a good friend but I can tell you that Dybala, at the moment, is not the key to PSG's future."

Al-Khelaifi revealed in the same interview that manager Unai Emery's job is not under any immediate threat.
