Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen was swift to turn down an offer from Manchester City in the summer, according to the player's agent Martin Schoot.
The 20-year-old was thought to be in high demand during the window, with Manchester United and Liverpool also linked to the midfielder, who eventually opted to stay with the Dutch outfit.
"He's not interested in money," Schoot told De Telegraff. "He choose [to stay] for his development and because of that he's at Ajax.
"He's got a excellent relationship with Frank de Boer and he's enjoying himself in Amsterdam. Christian didn't think about [the offer from Man City] for longer then 10 seconds."
Eriksen is expected to feature for Ajax when they go up against the English champions in Europe tomorrow.
