Borussia Dortmund want Edin Dzeko?

Borussia Dortmund are lining up bid for Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko, according to a report.

Borussia Dortmund are chasing Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko, according to a report.

The Bosnian forward has been largely used as a substitute by City boss Roberto Mancini this season, and The Mirror is reporting that the German champions are ready to test their resolve with a bid to bring him back to the Bundesliga.

It has been reported that BVB coach Jurgen Klopp will offer around £17m for the former Wolfsburg man, although Dzeko will have to take a cut on his wages that are thought to be around £120,000 per week.

Dzeko scored for City in their 3-1 defeat away to Southampton on Saturday.
