Tony Pulis believes that Stoke City's match against Manchester City will be "difficult" as Roberto Mancini's side fight for the title.

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has said that all the pressure is heaped on Manchester City as both clubs prepare to face off at the Britannia Stadium tomorrow.

Roberto Mancini's side are one point behind Manchester United in the Premier League table and Pulis believes that the title challengers will be eager to grab three points.

"Obviously the stakes are higher, all the pressure is on Man City to win the game," said Pulis. "If you have a look at the resources Man City have and the money they have spent, the players they have got and the lead they had around Christmas they will be desperately keen to get over the line.

"It is a real ding dong of a game, we are looking forward to it. If they play to their maximum and everything goes their way, it will be very difficult for us.

"We are just hoping we turn up and play to our maximum, and the decisions go our way. We have the opportunity to have a right crack at them, and that is what we will try to do."

Stoke are currently 11th in the league table with nine games left to go until the close of the season.
