Manchester City officials have reportedly been left reeling by Yaya Toure's comments that he would be interested in signing for Paris Saint-Germain at some point in his career.
The 31-year-old's future has been called into question after his agent Dimitri Seluk claimed last week that the midfielder is unhappy because the club failed to celebrate his birthday.
This week, Toure told a French magazine that he would be 'honoured' to play for PSG.
According to the Daily Star, City officials are furious with the midfielder's comments and will order the player not to discuss his future while on World Cup duty with the Ivory Coast.
Toure contributed to City's Premier League title success last season by scoring 20 goals.
