Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins believes that manager Michael Laudrup will stay at the club.

The Swans boss has been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium with reported interest from Real Madrid and Manchester City.

However, Jenkins thinks that Laudrup is happy to extend his stay with the Welsh side.

"Looking at Michael, I personally think he will sign a new contract," he told the Daily Mail.

"I'm aware of what he is like as a person and if he is not comfortable he will try something else. Things are going very well here."

The Swans play Bradford City in today's League Cup final.
