Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Watford.
Last month, Jurgen Klopp brought in Andrew Robertson from Hull City seemingly to compete with James Milner for the left-back spot at Anfield, a move which further pushes Moreno down the pecking order.
However, the Spaniard has no shortage of admirers both in the Premier League and in Europe, and according to IBTimes UK, Watford are preparing to make an approach for the player.
Hornets boss Marco Silva had been interested in Robertson - who he worked with at the KCOM Stadium last season - but the Portuguese has now allegedly set his sights on former Sevilla full-back Moreno.
The 25-year-old made just two starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League last season, while two years remain on his current contract.
Despite his lack of minutes, Klopp has suggested that Moreno could still have a future at the club after impressing against Bayern Munich earlier this week.
