Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that the club have held talks with Inter Milan over the signing of midfielder Philippe Coutinho this week.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a £10.2m move to the Premier League club, with Inter's president Massimo Moratti claiming that it is "a great opportunity" for the Brazilian.
"There's nothing to report," ESPN quotes Rodgers as saying. "There's no-one signed yet.
"Whenever we do sign someone, I will let you know. There has been talk between the clubs, but that is about it. There's nothing to report."
Coutinho joined Inter from Vasco da Gama in 2010.
