Serie A side Sampdoria are interested in signing Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli this summer, according to reports.
The Italian striker has struggled since moving to Anfield from AC Milan last year and is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
Italian publication Tuttosport reports that Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero will make an offer to sign the 24-year-old before the transfer window officially opens.
If successful, Ferrero wants to partner Balotelli, who has scored just four goals in 28 appearances this season, up front with former Chelsea and Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o.
