Manchester City are reportedly prepared to test Liverpool's resolve once more with a new bid for defender Daniel Agger.
The Premier League champions, who were thought to be knocked back by the Reds after lodging a £13m bid, are said to be determined to land the Denmark international.
It is believed that City are willing to improve their offer following two failed bids, one of which was thought to be in the region of £16m, according to The Metro.
Reports have claimed that the North-West side switched their attentions to Agger after giving up on their pursuit of new Paris Saint-Germain signing Thiago Silva.
