Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has posted a picture of a light at the end of a tunnel on his Instagram account to further fuel speculation that he is keen to be reunited with his former boss Rafa Benitez at Napoli.
Liverpool have brought in seven new signings this summer, including central midfielder Emre Can, which has put the Brazilian's place in the team under serious threat.
Napoli were thought to be keen on bringing Manchester United's £27m signing Marouane Fellaini on loan to Italy, but his £100,000-a-week wages have proved to be a stumbling block, and The Independent reports that Benitez is eyeing up Leiva as a cheaper alternative.
Lucas yesterday posted a picture on his Instagram account which showed a light at the end of a tunnel, which suggests that a move could soon be on the cards.
Lucas joined Liverpool from native club Gremio in 2007.
