Liverpool have reportedly agreed a deal with RB Leipzig in which Naby Keita's transfer fee is dependant on the club's finishing position in the Bundesliga.
Last summer, an agreement was reached for Keita to make the switch to Anfield ahead of the 2018-19 campaign after helping his club into the Champions League for the first time in their history.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the financial terms were not concluded and would only be determined by how RB Leipzig fare in Germany's top flight this season.
Leipzig could potentially finish in any position between second and 11th spot, and a top-four place would lead to Liverpool having to pay a figure of £59m.
However, ending the campaign in fifth or sixth position - which is where they currently sit - would lead to a reduction to £52.75m, while seventh and below would see Liverpool spend £48m.
Keita has contributed six goals and five assists in 25 outings in the Bundesliga this season.
