Liverpool have allegedly reached a deal to sign Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir.
The France international will undergo a medical at the club's Melwood training ground on Friday, according to L'Equipe.
The report flies in the face of recent comments from Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas, who claimed that the two clubs are unlikely to hold further talks over the transfer before the World Cup.
Liverpool are said to be eager to get a deal over the line before the tournament to avoid Fekir's price tag rising following France's campaign in Russia.
Previous reports suggest that the Reds will pay around £60m for the midfielder.
