The La Liga leaders are looking to find a new keeper after Victor Valdes announced that he would not be renewing his contract with the Spanish giants.
According to the Daily Mail, Reds stopper Reina has now emerged as their number one target to replace Valdes.
Reina is currently sidelined with injuries to his thigh and nose and missed
Liverpool's 5-0 victory over Norwich City on Saturday.
