Iago Aspas seals loan move to Sevilla from Liverpool

Iago Aspas finalises a season-long loan move from Liverpool to Sevilla, with the option of a permanent deal.

Out-of-favour Liverpool striker Iago Aspas has finalised a loan move to Sevilla.

The 26-year-old moved to Anfield from Celta Vigo last summer, but failed to cement a place in manager Brendan Rodgers's side.

The two clubs agreed the deal earlier this week, but it has now gone through after Aspas passed a medical.

An option has been put in place for Sevilla to permanently sign the forward on a three-year deal should he impress next season.

Aspas, who cost Liverpool £9m, will be officially unveiled by the Spanish club on Monday.
