Liverpool's most expensive sales ever

Sports Mole looks at the most expensive sales in Liverpool's glittering history.

While many players have arrived at Liverpool in blockbuster transfer deals, some of the stars of yesteryear have also departed for inflated fees during the Premier League era.

For some, their moves away from Anfield worked out as expected or even better, but others failed to justify the mammoth fees that the Reds received to sever them from their contracts.
