Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has heaped praise on the club's head coach Jurgen Klopp ahead of their Champions League clash with Manchester City.
The Dutch international said that the German is the "complete manager" and hailed the positive impact he has had around Anfield since joining the club.
"He is the complete manager. He is a fantastic team manager, player manager as well, everyone is working hard together," The Mirror quotes the former Southampton defender as saying.
"Obviously that [Klopp's interaction with the crowd during games] stays more in people's minds because that is what you see, but he is much more than that.
"You don't see all the hard work we put in behind the scenes. He has shown already that he is an outstanding manager."
Liverpool travel to the Etihad Stadium for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final against City with a 3-0 advantage from the first leg.
