Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has refused to discuss Adam Lallana's recent comments regarding his departure from St Mary's last summer.
The midfielder, who joined Liverpool for £25m, recently stated that his exit left a "sour taste" in the mouths of a few at the club.
However, he denied reports that he refused to play for the Saints if they did not sanction his move to Anfield last season.
When asked about Lallana's remarks in this afternoon's press conference, Koeman said: "That's not my question. My job is to prepare my team for Sunday's game.
"I don't talk about players who come back to the club where they played last season because I could do that every week. He is doing well at Liverpool - he chose to leave the club and nothing else."
Southampton will host Liverpool in Sunday's Premier League match.
