Jose Enrique reveals that he is happy to play in any position that he is asked to for Liverpool.

Liverpool left-back Jose Enrique has insisted that he will play in any position for the club.

Despite being usually regarded as a defender, the Spaniard has been asked to feature on the wing by manager Brendan Rodgers in recent weeks.

While admitting that he feels more comfortable in a defensive role, the 26-year-old has revealed that playing alongside players like Luis Suarez has made the position switch easy.

"I like to play there but to be honest my position is left-back, it is where I am more comfortable and is where I have been all my life in the Premier League," he said.

"Of course, you enjoy it when you attack and I don't have to defend that much and playing there with Luis is really easy as his movement is everything and he is a really clever player.

"It depends on where the manager wants me to play. I don't care where."

Enrique joined the Reds in the summer of 2011 from Newcastle United.
