Liverpool striker Andy Carroll has not travelled with the club's squad to Belarus for their Europa League match, according to reports.
It was earlier reported that Carroll had been included in the squad to face FC Gomel, but Sky Sports News has since reported that the England international has remained in England.
The 23-year-old's future has been the subject of speculation, with several clubs interested in acquiring his signature.
It was reported on Monday evening that Liverpool had agreed a loan deal with West Ham United for Carroll, but the Hammers were quick to deny that an agreement had been reached.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers goes into his first competitive game with the club without Luis Suarez and Craig Bellamy, who are both on duty for their countries at the Olympics.
