Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers includes Andy Carroll in his Liverpool squad for tomorrow's Europa League qualifier against FC Gomel, despite rumours of an impending exit.

Liverpool have included striker Andy Carroll in the travelling squad to Belarus for the Reds' Europa League qualifier against FC Gomel.

The 23-year-old, who has been amid transfer speculation since the start of the summer window, could feature for the Merseyside club in the qualifiers, which would not hamper his chances of playing European football for other clubs.

The England international has been strongly linked to Newcastle United, who are due to compete in the Europa League. However, if Carroll does represent Liverpool in the qualifying stages, UEFA rules state that the forward is permitted to play for another team in the group phase.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, who will face his first competitive match as Reds manager tomorrow, is without Luis Suarez and Craig Bellamy as they compete at the Olympics but new signing Fabio Borini could feature.
