Leicester City have reportedly informed Wes Morgan's representatives that they are keen to start contract negotiations.
Yesterday the Foxes confirmed that leading goalscorer Jamie Vardy had signed a new deal at the King Power Stadium until 2019.
Now, according to The People, Leicester want skipper Morgan to follow suit and extend his terms.
The 32-year-old, who joined the Premier League leaders from rivals Nottingham Forest in 2012, has 18 months left to run on his current contract.
Morgan has featured in all 25 of Leicester's league matches this term.
