Leicester City reportedly have no plans to sack manager Brendan Rodgers despite the club's poor run of form this season.

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers reportedly still has the backing of the club's board despite the team's poor recent form.

The Foxes are winless in the Premier League so far this calendar year, picking up just two points from the 15 on offer from their five matches.

Sunday's 2-1 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers leaves Leicester in 11th place, eight positions and 16 points worse off than at the same stage last season.

Reports last week suggested that Rodgers could only have one game to save his job, but The Telegraph claims that the Leicester board have no plans to part company with their manager.

The report claims that the board recognise that the Northern Irishman has had to contend with a crippling injury crisis this season and are therefore willing to be patient with him.

Rodgers has led Leicester to back-to-back fifth-placed finishes in the past two seasons, as well as the first FA Cup triumph in the club's history last term.
