Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has insisted that his side will put up more of a fight than they did last season in the East Midlands derby against Derby County on Saturday.
Last season the Foxes were beaten 2-1 to hand Derby their first win in six games, but Pearson said that this time they will give a "good account" of themselves.
"What we have got to do is make sure that we get our performance right," PA quotes Pearson as saying. "Local derbies are about making sure you give a good account of yourselves and that's what we intend to do.
"We certainly didn't do that last time. The performance up there on the day was not up to scratch, it was one of our worst.
"That won't happen again. Quite how I will use that when I talk to my players ahead of the game, I don't know, but I can assure you they will get the message."
Pearson took over Leicester in 2011.
