Nigel Pearson: 'We had the best chances'

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson reacts to his side's 0-0 draw with Leeds United.

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson believes that his side had the better clear-cut chances during their 0-0 draw with Leeds United in the Championship.

The Foxes boss described the encounter as a "decent game" and complemented the the opposition for their game plan.

"I think it was always going to be tight," PA Sport quotes him as saying. "Leeds came with a decent game plan and tried to limit the number of chances we had. We had the best clear-cut chances but we were unable to take one.

"I thought it was an interesting game with two decent sides who cancelled each other out. It was a decent game and I felt comfortable throughout.

"You credit Leeds for how they went about the game and that was how games are in the Championship - very tight and there for the taking."

The result leaves Leeds and Leicester in eighth and ninth place in the league table with four points each.
