Lacina Traore left out of Ivory Coast's World Cup squad

Lacina Traore and Seydou Doumbia are left out of the Ivory Coast squad for this summer's World Cup.

Monaco striker Lacina Traore has been left out of the Ivory Coast squad for this summer's World Cup.

The 24-year-old, who had a spell on loan at Everton last season, was included in their provisional squad, but he is not included in manager Sabri Lamouchi's plans for the tournament in Brazil.

Captain Didier Drogba, Wilfried Bony, Gervinho, Giovanni Sio and Mathis Bolly are the five forwards that have been picked for the tournament.

Despite suffering from malaria, Liverpool defender Kolo Toure has also been included, alongside his brother Yaya Toure.
