Ipswich Town take on Charlton Athletic in the Championship this weekend with both teams desperate to get back to winning ways.

Ipswich Town and Charlton Athletic will be fighting it out for points this weekend after both sides succumbed to respective defeats earlier this week.

Paul Jewell's side failed to capitalise on their home advantage during a 2-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.

The Addicks also failed to grab maximum points earlier this week, despite scoring two goals against Derby County, but it was the Rams who clinched the win 3-2.

Daryl Murphy, who is on loan from Scottish Premier League champions Celtic, is likely to lead the line for the Tractor Boys, while Charlton will be relying on Yann Kermorgant to find the net on away turf this weekend.

Recent form:

Ipswich: LLDLL

Ipswich: Loach; Cresswell, Chambers, Smith, Edwards; N'daw, Martin, Luongo, Chopra; Taylor, Murphy

Charlton: Hamer; Morrison, Solly, Cort, Jackson; Green, Stephens, Hollands, Wilson; Wright-Phillips, Kermorgant

Sports Mole says: 0-1
