Ipswich manager Paul Jewell believes that his side's 3-0 win over Coventry was especially important ahead of their upcoming fixtures.
With games against Middlesbrough and West Ham approaching, Jewell admitted that it was crucial to get the three points last night.
"It was important for us to get the win tonight because we go to Middlesbrough on Saturday and then West Ham the following Tuesday.
"There are no easy games in this league, absolutely no easy games so it was important for our confidence and the good of the fans we got a result."
The win saw Ipswich climb six places to 13th in the Championship table.
