Inter Milan have today entered negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over a loan move for defender Gregory van der Wiel.
The Dutch international is thought to be surplus to requirements under new PSG boss Laurent Blanc, and Inter are eyeing a possible season-long loan deal.
Inter director Piero Ausilio has revealed that talks are at a positive stage, while declaring that Juventus have rejected their enquiry for Chilean midfielder Mauricio Isla.
He is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying: "We have an open discussion with PSG over Van der Wiel. We are talking about a loan, so we'll see.
"We are talking to Juve [over Isla], but everyone sticks to their guns. They have one evaluation of the player, we have another."
Van der Wiel has spent less than 12 months in the French capital, after completing a £6m move from Ajax last September.
