Terry Butcher 'agrees' to take over at Hibernian

Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Terry Butcher reportedly agrees personal terms to become the new Hibernian manager.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Terry Butcher has reportedly agreed to take the Hibernian job.

Caley Thistle have said that there has been no contact between the clubs but, according to BBC Scotland, Butcher has successfully negotiated personal terms with the Edinburgh outfit.

Hibs have been after a new manager since the departure of Pat Fenlon on Friday, with Butcher reportedly the club's number one target.

Butcher is also said to be in the frame for the vacant Middlesbrough job, but now looks set to remain in Scotland.
