Andrew Driver pens Aberdeen deal

Former Hearts midfielder Andrew Driver signs for Aberdeen until the summer.

Former Hearts midfielder Andrew Driver has joined Aberdeen on a deal until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old, whose move is subject to international clearance, has recently been training with the Scottish Premiership club.

Driver was released by MLS side Houston Dynamo at the end of 2014.

"I'm delighted to get Andy on board. Hopefully he will make the most of this opportunity we've given him," manager Derek McInnes told the club's official website. "During his time with us I believe there has been enough to suggest that he can be a good addition to our squad."

Aberdeen are back in action on Friday when they host Motherwell in the league.
