Germany boss Joachim Low has revealed that he has held early negotiations over extending his contract with the national side.
Low has been in charge of Germany since 2006, after being promoted from his role as assistant to Jurgen Klinsmann during the World Cup that same year.
He told Kicker: "I have had no calls to the DFB, but I have consulted with DFB general secretary Helmut Sandrock and we have talked over two to three basic informations that need to be determined."
Germany are three points away from confirming their place in next summer's World Cup after beating neighbours Austria 3-0 in their latest qualifier last Friday.
Victory over the Faroe Islands tomorrow night will hand Low his fourth successive appearance at a major international tournament, with the last three all seeing Germany reach at least the semi-finals.
