Mario Gotze disappointed by draw with Ghana

Germany midfielder Mario Gotze expresses his disappointment following the team's draw with Ghana at the World Cup.

Germany midfielder Mario Gotze has expressed his disappointment following the team's 2-2 draw with Ghana at the World Cup.

The Germans saw their hopes of making the second round suffer a blow on Saturday night as they were held by the Africans.

Despite the result, Gotze is hopeful that he and his teammates can recover to beat the USA and progress in Brazil.

"We conceded two goals we should never have conceded. It was a very difficult game overall," he told FIFA.com. "Now we need to recover, prepare well for our match against USA and pick up all three points."

Germany play their final group game against the USA on Thursday.
