Team News: Boateng brothers face off in Fortaleza

The Boateng brothers - Jerome and Kevin-Prince - start for their respective national teams in Germany's World Cup clash with Ghana.

Germany boss Joachim Low has opted against making any changes to his team for tonight's World Cup clash with Ghana in Fortaleza.

The Germans kicked off their Group G campaign in style by thumping Portugal 4-0 on Monday, and Low has stuck to a winning formula by naming an identical starting lineup.

Mats Hummels, whose participation was doubted after picking up a groin injury, shakes off the complaint to partner Per Mertesacker in the heart of defence.

Thomas Muller, who scored a hat-trick in the thrashing of Portugal, also retains his selection, with Mesut Ozil and Mario Gotze among those in close support of the Bayern Munich man.

Meanwhile, Kevin-Prince Boateng comes into the first XI for Ghana and is poised to face his half-brother, Jerome Boateng.

The Schalke 04 midfielder started on the bench for their 2-1 defeat to the USA in the Group G opener earlier in the week, but has made the starting lineup this evening to provide an intriguing subplot to tonight's spectacle.

Germany: Neuer; Boateng, Mertesacker, Hummels, Howedes; Lahm, Khedira; Kroos, Ozil, Gotze, Muller
