Fulham have reportedly decided to up their efforts to sign Southampton defender Matt Targett.
The Cottagers have already made a number of high-profile signings this summer, and Swansea City defender Alfie Mawson could be about to become the next player to move to the newly-promoted Premier League side.
According to Sky Sports News, Targett remains on the radar of the West Londoners after the left-back played a key role during the second half of the last campaign.
Targett made 21 appearances as Fulham gained a place in the top flight through the Championship playoffs, but the Englishman has since returned to his parent club.
Southampton are allegedly demanding a fee in the region of £15m, but Fulham are currently indicating that they are only willing to spend £10m.
