Fulham have edged closer to a move for Swansea City defender Alfie Mawson, with talks between the two clubs reportedly at an advanced stage.
The 24-year-old was deemed one of the Swans' better performers last season, making 38 Premier League appearances as the club lost their fight against relegation.
Swansea's relegation to the Championship has resulted in increased interest in Mawson, who is keen to remain in the top flight in order to boost his international recognition with England.
According to Sky Sports News, Fulham and Swansea are in agreement on many aspects of the transfer, with both parties hoping that a deal can be finalised within 72 hours.
The report claims that the Welsh club want more than £20m for the centre-back, who is still getting back to fitness following knee surgery at the end of last season.
Mawson still has two years remaining on his contract at the Liberty Stadium.
