Martin Jol wants retrospective action on divers

Fulham boss Martin Jol wants UEFA to take retrospective action on divers following Moussa Dembele's controversial red card against Wisla Krakow on Thursday.

Fulham manager Martin Jol has called for UEFA to take retrospective action on divers after Moussa Dembele's red card against Wisla Krakow on Thursday.

The striker was sent off in the Cottagers' 1-0 defeat after he shoved Gervasio Nunez on the shoulder, although the Argentinian fell to the ground clutching his face in dramatic fashion.

"That would be something to look at in the future," said Jol. "I feel [Dembele] should not have raised his hand, but, having seen it again, I don't think it is a red card.

"I spoke with him because we were very disappointed. Everything was for nothing because of that action and he knows that.

"But if UEFA was to look at that situation they would see it was exaggerated a lot. It was a little push on his shoulder, but you can't do anything about it."

The Dutchman also revealed that Orlando Sa and Simon Davies will miss Sunday's match against Everton through injury.
