Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic has revealed that he will be without defender Alfie Mawson until September.
The 24-year-old, who suffered a serious knee injury last season, is still recovering from surgery after making a £20m move from Swansea City this summer.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Jokanovic said that Mawson will be absent for between "two and three weeks".
"He won't be ready," the manager said. "We will be waiting between two and three weeks for him to start working with us."
Mawson will miss the opening match against Crystal Palace next weekend, as well as fixtures against Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley.
