QPR manager Mark Hughes claims that he did an "outstanding job" at Fulham, despite only lasting 11 months at Craven Cottage.

Queens Park Rangers boss Mark Hughes has claimed that he did an "outstanding job" at Fulham ahead of Saturday's match between the two sides.

Hughes was manager of the West London club for 11 months before resigning following a spat with chairman Mohamed Al-Fayed.

However, the Welshman believes that he did a good job at the club, despite Al-Fayed describing him as a "flop".

"It seems to be quite difficult to leave Fulham and remain on good terms. Eighth in the Premier League for Fulham was an outstanding job," said Hughes.

QPR currently sit 16th in the Premier League, only out of the relegation zone on goal difference.
