Fenerbahce remain unbeaten in 14 matches across all competitions after securing their place in the next round of the Turkish Cup with a 2-0 win over Gaziantep on Wednesday.
Michy Batshuayi scored the game's first goal from the spot before adding a second just after the half-hour mark, taking his tally in the last two matches to three.
It was the same story in their last league outing, as the Yellow Canaries won 2-0 against Antalyaspor to remain atop the Super Lig with 63 points, level with second-placed Galatasaray but ahead on goal difference.
The 2023-24 Super Lig title race has been a two-horse affair between Fener and Gala since the season's first half, with both clubs pulling clear of the chasing pack. Ismail Kartal's side know that any slip up could spell doom as the season approaches its final 14 games.
Back on home soil this weekend where the Yellow Canaries have scored 16 goals in their last four matches across all competitions, with 10 coming in the league. They will be looking to avoid another slip up, having dropped points in three out of 12 league games at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium this season.
However, they have won their last four competitive matches against Sunday's opponents, scoring 14 goals while conceding just three in those games combined.
Meanwhile, Alanyaspor failed to take their unbeaten run to four league games, falling 2-1 to Kasimpasa at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadyumu last time out.
Fatih Tekke's side took the lead in the 28th minute when Jackson Porozo put the ball in his own net but it was not for long as Gokhan Gul restored parity eight minutes later before Mamadou Fall ensured maxim points for Kasimpasa with a goal just before the hour mark.
Consequently, Alanya-based club dropped to 14th on the table with 27 points from their 24 league games so far, three points clear of the relegation zone.
Back on the road where they have not won in their last four games, Tekke's men will hope to improve their away record against a side they have beaten just once away from home in their history.

Bright Osayi-Samuel is unavailable for the hosts as he is at the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, representing Nigeria who have progressed to the final of the tournament.
Luan Peres (knee) and Fred (hamstring), who have missed the past couple of matches, remain sidelined due to varying injuries.
Edin Dzeko will look to add to his league leading 16 goals when he starts up front this weekend.
Alanyaspor have a clean bill of health with Tekke spoilt for choice ahead of Sunday's clash.
Efecan Karaca should lead the line once again, supported by Alanya's top scorer Joao Novais.
Fenerbahce possible starting lineup:
Livakovic; Muldur, Bonucci, Oosterwolde, Kadioglu; Yuksek, Krunic; Kahveci, Szymanski, Tadic; Dzeko
Alanyaspor possible starting lineup:
Taskiran; Balkovec, Aliti, Lima, Hadergjonaj; Fer, Richard; Aydin, Novais, Augusto; Karaca
We say: Fenerbahce 4-1 Alanyaspor
Fenerbahce are unstoppable at the moment and Alanyaspor will be the next victim of the unstoppable Yellow Canaries. We are backing the hosts to win by a comfortable margin, but the visitors should also find the net.
