Michael Keane returns to Everton's starting lineup for this afternoon's league clash with former club Burnley.

Michael Keane has returned to Everton's starting lineup for this afternoon's Premier League clash against former club Burnley at Goodison Park.

The England international has missed the Toffees' last two games with a foot injury, but he has recovered in time to take on the side that he left in the summer.

Home boss Ronald Koeman has rewarded Oumar Niasse with a starting spot up front, meanwhile, following his run of three goals in two games.

That means that Wayne Rooney is made to watch on from the bench, while Nikola Vlasic - off the mark in the 2-2 draw with Apollon Limassol on Thursday evening - comes in for his first start in the English top flight.

In terms of the visitors, Sean Dyche has stuck with an unchanged XI on the back of last weekend's stalemate at home to Huddersfield Town.

The only change in the squad comes on the bench, where Anders Lindegaard comes in for Adam Legzdins following his arrival as a free agent last week.

Burnley are attempting to remain unbeaten in their opening four top-flight away games for the first time since a six-match streak in 1966.

Everton: Pickford; Martina, Keane, Williams, Baines; Gueye, Schneiderlin, Vlasic; Calvert-Lewin, Niasse, Sigurdsson
Subs: Stekelenburg, Holgate, Davies, Klaassen, Lookman, Rooney; Sandro

Burnley: Pope; Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Ward; Cork, Hendrick, Defour; Brady, Arfield; Wood
Subs: Lindegaard, Vokes, Barnes, Gudmundsson, Westwood, Bardsley; Long
