England to send defender John Stones back to Everton?

A report claims that John Stones will soon leave the England squad to continue his recovery from a knee injury with Everton.

John Stones will reportedly be released by England over the next couple of days.

The Everton centre-back reported for international duty this morning, despite the fact that he has been suffering with a knee ligament injury that he picked up last month.

However, according to the Liverpool Echo, once the 21-year-old has been assessed by the England medical staff, he will return to his club to continue his rehabilitation.

The complaint has forced Stones to miss Everton's last two games against West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool.
