David Moyes says that Everton found it "tough" against Cheltenham Town despite their 5-1 victory.

Everton manager David Moyes believes that his side did not find it easy to defeat Cheltenham Town at Whaddon Road on Monday.

The Toffees defeated the League Two club 5-1 away from home to progress to the fourth round of the FA Cup.

"It was a tough game for us which is what you expect in the FA Cup," he told BBC Sport.

"The pitch was difficult but we got the job done. They always had a chance, but we scored some good goals tonight. We played well enough to win the game."

Everton will take on either Sunderland or Bolton Wanderers in the fourth round.
