Sports Mole previews Espanyol's clash with Sevilla in La Liga on Friday.

Sevilla will be looking to return to winning ways on Friday when they travel to Barcelona to take on bottom side Espanyol.

Míchel's side lost 2-1 at home to Real Valladolid on Monday to slip to 11th in the league standings on 18 points, four points off the final Europa League spot.

Espanyol are currently at the foot of the table with just 10 points and have not won in their last five competitive matches.

Friday's hosts also lost both their games in the Copa del Rey fourth-round tie against Sevilla, going down 3-1 in Seville before being hammered 3-0 at home last month.

Midfielder Gary Medel is suspended for Sevilla following his dismissal against Valladolid on Monday.

Defender Antonio Luna too is suspended, but Federico Fazio will return from a one-match ban and is likely to start against Espanyol.
