Ravel Morrison stars in England Under-21 win

Ravel Morrison and Saido Berahino score twice each as the England Under-21s get the better of their Lithuania counterparts 5-0 at home.

England have defeated Lithuania 5-0 in their 2015 Under-21 European Championship Group 1 qualifier at home, thanks to two goals from Ravel Morrison.

Gareth Southgate's side surged ahead as early as the second minute when Morrison converted from close range following good work from Wilfried Zaha.

James Ward-Prowse made it 2-0 to the England Under-21s in the 27th minute when he found the target with a direct free kick.

The Young Lions continued to dominate proceedings at Portman Road in Ipswich as Saido Berahino etched his name on the scoresheet in the 63rd minute.

Morrison doubled his tally eight minutes later when he burst through the middle and slotted home from just yards out, and Berahino wrapped up the scoring just minutes later from the penalty spot.

The victory means that England remain unbeaten in their qualifying campaign and go top of the group with 10 points from four matches.
